Saved my house giveaway. winner chosen

Ted,

I'm glad to hear that the current is starting to go your way. I'd be honored to enter this GAW in the hopes of winning a reminder to just "keep paddling the canoe". We can all use that advice sometimes.

C'mon folks don't be afraid to enter, this is open with minimum requirements so by the time drawing comes this should be full of entries, this is a very knice pocketable knife it's not a big canoe and it's on a slim frame with a single backspring, also very pocket friendly with no sharp edges except where they're supposed to be. ;)

I would be happy to carry and use that knife. Consider this an entry.

Not an entry (as I have a Canoe), but a very nice give away. The Canoe is really a great and under appreciated pattern.

Happy Birthday and very good job toughing it out. That's something to be proud of.

Please consider this an entry with humble graciousness. I too would be honored to add this one to the collection and enjoy carrying on special occasions.

This life we are blessed with is about so much more than the things around us we get distracted with, and a gift is just as much about the giver as it is the recipient. This will be a great reminder to whoever receives it to cherish life, regardless of the situation.

Thanks

Hey Ted, you didn't even mention that your pc got shot!!

I am very happy to hear that you can keep your home - it sounds like a dream location.

Thanks for the awesome story - made my day a little brighter.

And put your daughter's boyfriend to work around the ranch. ;^)

best

Ted, I'm delighted. Happy for you. Give the blade to someone else, but God bless you and yours.

Just wanted to let you know how inspiring it is for you to think of giving something away at a time when it would easily be possible to become consumed with how to gain more.
Congratulations on your hard work and recent accomplishments.
keep fighting the good fight!

I'm in!

To be honest, I've heard of renegotiations of mortgages happening on TV by politicians,
but this is the first time I've actually seen it happen.
My deepest congratulations and happy birthday.

Good luck.

God Bless you Ted.
Glad that things are looking up.
Count me in.

Not an entry, but I am happy to hear things are turning around for you.

Ted, I'd like to enter this give away. I'm glad you have been able to keep your house. And, happy birthday!

A knife story - lost and found:

Several years ago I had a 1990 GMC Sonoma pickup that the radiator split while it was under warranty. The dealer replaced the radiator for no charge. Later by a couple of years, the same thing happened to the replacement radiator. Now not under warranty, it would be my sweat and nickel to get a new radiator in the truck.

The radiator shop built me a new radiator with metal headers instead of the original crimp on plastic ones. When I pulled the radiator out of the truck, there was my Buck 503 laying in the channel the radiator sits in, blade open; it had been there for a good long time. I don't remember what I was doing or when I dropped it, but there it was after 10's of thousands of miles. It was a happy reunion as my best friend gave it to me decades ago. I sold the truck, but will keep the knife as long as I am breathing.

Count me in. I'm very happy for you that things are turning in your favor! I can't even imagine the stress you've been under and I also tore my knee out a while back. It will be 2 years ago this labor day and it was a horrible experience! I didn't get a full knee replacement as I'm to young but they used cadaver parts to put my knee back together. The recovery time took forever and even to this day it's not the same and never will be. It's stable again at least but most of my meniscus had to be removed so that is what is causing me constant pain now I think. Anyway I was under a ton of stress and got very depressed after my knee injury and i didn't have to worry about money while I was going through it so I really feel for you and what you have had to endure. Glad you stuck with it though and everything is working out!

Ted, I'm glad to hear things are looking up, and best of luck to you and this giveaway.

:) I'm in. It would be nice to have the knife, but primarily I would like to commend you for your efforts to keep going in spite of problems. Perhaps some of your collection can be sold to obtain funds?

Just wanted to say thanks for sharing your story. I wish you and your family the best as you continue to recover, if there were more people like you we wouldn't be in the mess were in right now.

This isn't an entry but I hope you have a great birthday this year and continue to see things improve...some of your story rang home a little and a little hope and perseverance really can get you through the worst of the worst. I've been a little sporadic in getting on here of late, but its good seeing familiar names still keeping on.

Take care.
