Saved my life

Knowing how the Izzy is with unintentional cuts, being this was intentional there is a good chance he had to go to the hospital. Police will follow up with that...

the cut was fore arm, im nut sure left or right to be honest, and he had a jacket on so i couldnt tell how bad, it felt deep! there was blood on the ground though
 
Glad your safe, I guess in my neck of the woods you dont hear about stuff like this very often. Most of the good guys would be pulling there gun instead of a knife. I carry both and know which I would go for first. I am glad I live in Wyoming and not a liberal state with there crazy laws about self defence.
 
Good for you! It sounds to me like it is time for you to start carrying a 5, not an Izula!
 
The sad part is they took your knife for evidence.. come on there is absolutely no need for that, other then making you vulnerable for a potential retaliation attack with him and others... its like they took you off defense intentionally..

Evidence, what a crock.. they simply don't want you to have a knife.. you are to count on them for protection entirely :eek: btw, you need to make sure you file the proper paper work right away to get back your knife or you will never see it again..

Glad to hear you're Ok. The police will probably have your knife for a long time, but if you got a receipt for it, they should get it back to you eventually.

Let's hope they catch the guy and get him off the street for a little while.

3) Glad you gave the guy a little something to remember the encounter

If the cops do give you any flak, you could always tell them that you were just wrapping the handle with paracord and it had to bite SOMEONE...!

Anytime the police take anything from you they should be giving you a receipt/chain of custody for the item. In most cases when you don't get one of these it can be difficult to get it back if it was put into evidence.
 
You stated he was unarmed so I don't see how you could lose your life in this situation. Nontheless it's pretty crazy, good for you, you saved your wallet and gave that punk a lesson.

You got the name of the cop who took your knife? What PD was it? I'm interested in this because I will get some people working on this if you will email me all the details jeff@eseeknives.com Send me as much detail on the story as possible (Same thing you told the cops). Also send me the Agency's contact information and the cop who confiscated your knife. Not saying I can get it back but I do have some folks I will contact on this.

jeff you are awesome and I'm glad you read this because I want you to know how much I appreciate what you do. I actually called on my lunch today after hearing all the feed back from the guys on here to see if they really needed it any more, they said that I could come get it after work today because they got all they needed from it!
