Savson Swords & Knives - Good Dealer?

Placed an order with them last Thursday (April 10) about noon. Sent them an e-mail over the weekend asking them to cancel if it hadn't yet shipped (found a better price elseware). Haven't received a reply. They have no phone number listed on their website. The phone number listed on my electronic CC statement is no longer in service (513-774-7365).

Should I be worried? Are these guys legit? Their website shows up-to-date knives that were recently released for production so it doesn't seem abandoned.
 
They're outstanding in my experience. I have ordered several knives from them recently and they've been great to me - please keep us informed.

I have not ordered from them since last October. They shipped one of the two knives I ordered, never answered any emails, phone on cc did not work, etc. I had to go to my cc company and dispute the charge on one of the knives. There is a lot written on the forum about them, most bad. Defenders of them said the owner had been sick or something like that. My advice, stay away from them. There are other "good" dealers who ship all your order, answer emails, answer phone calls, etc. Why not give your business to the good guys? My guess is you'll be charged for something you never receive and have to dispute with your cc.

That's too bad. I'm perfectly willing to dispute, though. Hardball only hurts when you're the target. ;)

I have delt with them before, and every thing was fine. But this is the second time I have heard of the kind of think happening.
 
I've purchased four knives from them over a period of a couple of years and have always been happy with the transaction.
 
Just got a voicemail from them tonight asking how I'd like to handle it. Said they're willing to either price-match or cancel whichever I'd like. Said my first two e-mails went to spam so they didn't see them. Very good follow-up.
 
Things are definitely getting back on track over there. Randy was suffering from an illness and now has some help.
