Placed an order almost a month ago. Credit card charged. No knives. No response to email inquiries regarding shipping status. Phone calls = automated service - mailbox full. There you have it.

Good that you used a credit card!

Recommend that you contact your credit card issuer to
reverse the charge...some have time limits to do so. e.g. 30 days.

My wife ordered my anniversary present from Savson. Competitive prices, large selection, and she received it promptly with no hassel. She's not a knife person, it was just the first one that popped up on the google search. 30 days seems excessive, but if you have been calling recently, like within the last two weeks or so, they may still be down due to the holidays. Thanksgiving through the New Year really screws with companies, and they may not be an exception. I sent a brand name flashlight off to the very reputable manufacturer for warranty repair almost a month ago. I thought about calling last week, but their web site said that they would not be working from about Dec 24 through Jan 2. Not trying to excuse, but giving a possible reason. For future reference, I would order knives and other gift type items well before or well after the "gift giving season." If you do feel hosed, call your credit card company about redress. I'd be inerested to hear others' experiences with this company. One bad and one good is not sufficient from which to draw an oppinion, although my opinion prior to seeing this thread was very positive.

Miguet,
I just spoke to the owner of Savson Sword and Knife, and he is looking into the status of your package with USPS. I would imagine it would take a long time shipping to Guam. They usually answer their 800 number but maybe when calling from overseas it's different.

You need not worry, this is an excellent company, and they will certainly stand by their sale. I have made numerous purchases with excellent service!

Generally the posts here about savson have been good to excellent.
IIRC few, if any, complaints (other than this one).

I received a couple of very professional emails from SAVSON and they are processing a credit. Bullglock23, thank you very much for the assistance, I appreciate it.

USPS Priority to Guam hasn't been problematic and usually takes from one to two weeks. I recently (holiday period) received USPS packages from Anthony Cheeseboro, Armraised, and "db" - all between 7 and 12 days of shipment.

Glad this got cleared up fast I was about to buy 4 knives from them then I saw this thread and I was going to hold off to see how this turned out.

savson will answer your emails and take care of ANY problem right away. I've ordered from them many times and only once was there a slight delay in getting a knife to me and the owner seen to it personally that it was resolved quickly.
