savsonswordsandknives / Cincinnati Cutlery / Cincinnati Tactical =>
I've personally recommended this vendor to several of you guys after I made numerous purchases with zero problems, fair pricing, & quick shipping. I'd now feel guilty if any of you tried to make a purchase because of my recommendation. I paid for a blade several months ago, and still don't have a blade, a refund, or a credit. Randy has not returned repeated calls or multiple emails. Please PM me if you want further info, previous shipping addresses, etc. Buyer beware!

Mr Reed. We were notified that there was a negative post about us on the web and came here after your post was pointed out. We have no affiliation with savson or cincinnati cutlery but we did copy their store design before they closed down because we knew they were going out of business. If you wish to let us know how you were shortchanged perhaps we can help.

Just curious on how you were able to just copy their site word for word, image for image along with the same pricing structure and pretty much replace the company name where needed? Websites do not normally allow that. Yes you can copy text and pictures, but you need the source code to get it all to work. Also curious on why you would want to copy a business website that probably has one of the worst, if not the worst customer service reputation in the business. Very Interesting, but hey I am just asking.

I find myself very interested, too. Is this the same old business with a new name or a new business buying out an old business's assets?

i called the number at the website and their voicemail box is full. i think i called it a long time ago and it was full then.

It's been a couple of years since they have been a reliable company. You order from this company, you take your chances.

We bought the old Savson site and did a store copy. With Yahoo stores it is fairly easy to copy the entire store and then restructure prices, items, etc. We considered the negative feedback from copying their old site but cost won out...we did a store copy at the fraction a new site would have cost us.

I just ordered $150 worth of knives through you today. I would like to get a confirmation of my order if possible. The funds have not been claimed yet but I am hoping that you guys come through. Thank you in advance.

I made an order via internet today for 150.00. I can't find any phone number to try and get a hold of cincinnatti tactical. I sent them an email, and have got nothing back. Do you know how to get a hold of these guys?

Hi algonquin76...I order a knife back in May 29, 2009. They charged my credit card but till today 6/9, I haven't gotten my knife. What's going on with this company? Should we just report this company as fraud and get feds to go down hard on it? Thx.

This gentleman was sent a knife by UPS ground, the package was lost and a trace put out. The package was not found and it was a discontinued knife so he was issued a prompt credit when it was discovered that the package could not be found. The whole story would we helpful.

CINTAC:

I ordered a Kershaw knife from you on December 6, 2009. I did receive an email from you confirming the order, but you have failed to reply to two (2) emails to confirm that the knife has actually been shipped and to advise me as to the arrival date.

I have read all of the threads on this forum's website, and it is becoming harder to give you the benefit of the doubt. Can you tell me when the knife should arrive? Should I cancel the charge through Mastercard?

I will presume that if you fail to respond, I should cancel the charge.

January 7th I place an order with CINTAC and did recieve a confirmation. No package, no repsonse to e-mails, and their shipping status does'nt show any shipping details. Wish I would have read this before ordering! CINTAC, if your reading this stuff, learn from it and take care of your customers.

Looks like the same old bag of assorted squirrel parts to me. There have to better places to order than these guys.
all da best,
rats...

i see they removed their number. maybe they are tired of getting calls from customers complaining about not getting their orders after they paid for them . ratstuph, i think your last post says it all :D
