Saw on the SAK Farmer

Just curious - does anyone find the saw on the SAK farmer useful? It's pretty darn small. Just curious if there's any reason to get this over the Pioneer.

Hey, damn good question.... I've wondered the same thing myself. Ever since wandering across this forum I have acquired a couple (ok... six) SAK's to test...

Thanks for the post....

Some good info here!;)

It is an EXCELLENT little saw! I have used mine to cut everything from sticks to nickel silver bars. It works, plain and simple.

I like the SAK saws as well.

I have ended up carrying a Huntsman Plus everyday and like it. The saw has been useful several times.

I use the SAK saw on my OHT to cut hiking sticks, works much better than trying to chop it with my midsized hiking knife.

I's invaluable! On the Farmer it has all the outdoor uses previous posters have mentioned,PLUS it comes in VERY useful around the house for small tricky jobs and in the orchard for pruning young trees etc.Don't leave this out of an EDC regimen!

The saw is the reason why I carry a SAK rather than another pocket knife
