Will someone please correct me if I am wrong but isnt sr-101 a bit more durable and easier to sharpen whereas Infi has better corrosion resistance? If that information is correct sr-101 would be the better choice of steel for a chopper?
 
The discount is nice, basically a free handle upgrade. I'm thinking that guard will need to be wrapped in some paracord before any serious work is done.

Is there an INFI black market? lol jk. Sucks for us residents in restricted areas, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else but the Bay Area. Awesome blade though!!!
 
That's awesome! I'm in San Diego so that disqualifies me; this state can really suck sometimes, nice weather though, but that's about it. Dang, gotta move out of here.

A while back I had a thread about "waiting to buy the Right Knife".

We'll this one grabbed me a bit. My wife told me that this could be an early birthday present if I wanted.

As I understand the order process, it could take between 4 to 14 weeks before a credit card is charged, so that makes money a bit easier.

Is this THE KNIFE? I am beginning to feel it is.

I wonder how or if it works with the choke-back chop method compared to the regular fusion handles?
