I vote Bone. Mostly to keep the price point down so we'll have a better chance of getting this one to fruition.

Green or old ivory micarta make for an attractive, clean, pocketable knife.

Some nice brown jigged bone would fit the pattern nicely. My second choice would be an ivory or tan micarta.

I voted Ram's horn for something different, but any of the choices are fine.

BTW why did the blade length poll close so soon:confused:???

Bone -- red, brown, garnet, wine. Failing that, orange, red, or black micarta.

Oh, and both blades of equal length. Afterall, it's a trapper we've voted for.

voted bone. got an interview today (face to face after a phone interview so hopefully good news)

so this just may be possible for me :P

1. A two pattern trapper (implying two primary blades) appears to be the winner.
2. Going back through the poll, the most popular configuration is the Bose or "Trand-pper" configuration - wharncliffe primary behind a turkish clip primary, nail nicks on same side and easy to get at.
3. lack of time

Sorry, I don't mean to be short, it's just that I'm at work and I feel that this needed answering.

I voted ram's horn, but i also would like bone if needed. I just like natural handle materials for traditional knives.
