Scales for my Future Forum Knife

Yes, something like that is what I was referring to. That pen holder looks sharp, Sh@rp! :D

What if you didn't do a lot of little ants but maybe like 3 - 4 bigger ones per scale? Just a thought.
No problem but the cost will be way...up:eek:

This is a quick idea while I draw up something better ... the Rat Pack Number is supposed to be whiter ...

Another idea might be to use the ant but fill it in with that glow in the dark powder. I saw a guy that mixed it with epoxy and then put it on a knife. It turned out great. I'll see it I can get the name and post up what I'm talking about.

Im not sure if this has been brought up yet, but i think by filling the ant logo in the clear plastic handle with GITD paint, would have an awesome effect

edit: just noticed after i posted this the guy above me pretty much had the same idea

If the GITD paint/powder becomes an option I have names of the vendors in US and overseas. It not just as simple as buying it and putting it on if you want it done right, to be super bright and last for up to 10 years at at super bright level. There are a lot of options and a big difference in low quality versus high quality. Powders verus paint. waterbased, solvent, waterbased if not coated over and it comes in contact with water etc you can get loss of glow product, some will stink. Solvent based depending on usage may need to be coated as well. you also have particle size, paint it is mixed with zinc based versus the newer stuff and color that will affect glow which can be 10 minutes to 8 hours depending on color and type of glow prduct used. There is also some versions that will look clear in the day and others that will show a color similiar to what they glow in the dark. It's usally a clear liquid you use as your base either way for the clear looking day or the ones that give off color in the day. Neons and certain normal paint colors can be added but this will also have an affect on length and strength of glow. If I can provide any assistance I would be glad to help. I am actually looking at starting up a small company with custom fishing/ice jigs my own design and the knife forum has given me the idea to add beads, and other similar items for lanyards, key rings, braclets, etc to my company. Most of my jigs, etc will be offered in various glow colors. needless to say I have been studying glow products extensively before I begin ordering and testing. NO one does free samples so it will be an expensive venture to test and trial the companies I have picked out for my products. I would be happy to help in any way I can.

I was going to recommend Glow Inc. They make great quality stuff.

Their page has links to GITD projects, tips, tech specs on their various powders and pigments, their own forum for users of their product.

Thank you for the link.

What about finger grooves along the bottom for improved grip? You could still put the ant, RAT Pack #, etc on the side. Also, I like the GITD paint option mentioned above!

Got some pic or sketch about finger grooves?

Something like this maybe. You may only get 3 grooves on the Izula, but it's a rough alteration that I did real quick.

I used one of your photos as an example, so I hope that's OK. If not, let me know and I will remove it.:)
