Scam email?

I just got this email tonight and I'm a bit confused as to who really sent it and it is worded oddly and smells fishy to me. Could somebody please look into this guy (I dont have search ability) and see who he is

preston 087 is a real Bladeforums member. It may be his friend used his computer (his Bladeforums account) to email you an offer, seemingly on a knife you have for trade.

I wouldn't touch it myself, and I wonder if he's aware his account has been compromised, and could be misused much worse in the future.

Ok I sent a reply back to the irshchick address "she" messaged to me, and I'll also send an email to preston to make sure he knows whats goign on.
