Hey there

I’m reaching out to you from bf forum in response to your comment on my ads of “KREIN TK1,DEADPINE PINEWOLF,DCC LARGE RASCAL ”that I’m looking to sell and shipped.i await your quick response if interested in taking this so we can negotiate and have a nice deal 👍

Make an offer and let me know which of it you interested in taking !!

Bad english and “hurry up and pay me”.

Dont think a repository is needed theres warnings all over the site. Hope you didnt get scammed

If you want a repository or directory, start a thread with the information only...no extraneous conversation, comments, discussion.

Names, email, identifying info only, otherwise it's just another unwieldy thread.

Not me... want to start a search repository for those that want to double check. Please keep in mind that this will be google searchable, so it will "pay it forward" across a million sites.

Love is a verb.

Just avoid ANY email address that's proton.anything
I'm certain that they're all scammers.

Do your vetting before purchasing. Ask for vouches..follow up and ask. That's why they're "vouches" make sure they put some info in the item pic. To start.
That's completely wrong.

Don't make unsupportable blanket statements.

Wouldn't we also want to move this out of the "for sale" section and into the GBU section of the exchange as well? (or at least start the new thread there rather than here)

FYI, this scammer was already shared earlier today by another member in the above named section of the exchange here.

Well....maybe a blanket statement. But I have 4 or 5 screen shots of different "proton.me" emails that copied the screen name of the member I purchased from (just from the last 2 purchases, in the last 2 months) that emailed me asking me to send money for the item...without me or the seller even asking for emails. Within seconds of the seller saying "yours". But I'll retract, my post...

Nobody is saying that there aren't scam artists using proton. But there are lots of legit users too. Same with all the other email services.

What we don't want to do here is paint everyone with the same brush.

That said, doing one's due diligence is the way to go.

That's where it's been since I moved it after posting earlier.

This guy emailed me about a deadlock for sale I’d posted a reply on.

Hey there

I’m reaching out to you from bf forum in response to your comment on my ads of “HAWK DEADLOCK ”that I’m looking to sell for $1775 shipped.i await your quick response if interested in taking this so we can negotiate and have a nice deal 👍

Seemed fishy, as the actual seller messaged me saying it’s sold.

Then I searched his email username on here, and lead me here.

Is there something or someone I can report this too? Like police? It’s insane that people can do this

Thanks

You're getting those because it takes about 3 clicks and 8 seconds to find your email address.

Go through your posts and edit them out.

What do you think protonmail is? Are you under the impression its some sort of ultra-secret haxxxxxxor email provider?

It's literally no different then GMail, MSN, etc. with the added benefit of encryption. I use it all the time.

Of course, there's nothing to prevent a scammer from setting up a protonmail and using it for scams. Just like Gmail.

It's the same guy as OP. Same wording and poor command of English.

I would second the notion that not all proton mail users are scammers, it's a legitimately good service that isn't anything to do with the all seeing eye of Google. I use a dedicated proton email account for this forum and I wouldn't have it any other way ;)
