Scam Update

I bought two 630's from Brad Zufall on Oct 10. He had them listed on USN, user name = Marauder 220. I paypal'd him that day and received the knives on Oct 23rd. Between those two dates, repeated emails to him regarding shipping status, were all returned. I posted this on GB&U in an attempt to locate him. Literally hours after posting this, I received both knives from Brad exactly as described in his original post. The box had his return address on it.

A few days after receiving them, I read about Angelus 1721's predicament (his posts on USN). I emailed him (Angelus) to let him know who I was and to inform him of the aforementioned details.

I've been following this closely at both places and it seems to point out how vulnerable we are to ID theft.

Brad, I'm sorry this has happened to you...BUT ...relieved that the faith people had in you was deserved.

Angelus, you can't let this die on USN without going there and explaining what the recent activities are..
It is the right thing to do.

This whole identity theft thing is really scary. I sure as heck wouldn't want to be having to contend with what is Brad is going through right now.
 
Tob9595, I tried to log in over on the USN and haven't been able to for about the last 2 days. I enter my info on the log-in screen and it says I'm loggin in, but then it jumps right back to the log-in screen. I had assumed my account had been killed or something.
Aside from that, I'm in process of getting things sorted out and if Angelus's money was in any way part of this problem on my end, I guarantee he will have it back. Once again I do thank all those who spoke up on my behalf, as I have been having problems since early October, and on a side note, the MOST helpful of any service I've had to use in resolving this has been American Express. They provided immense tracking and credit card activity logs which should prove very useful in the end.
 
Indeed we will track down whoever screwed us over. I don't like whoever for screwing us over making me think you scammed me and then have him take my money, tricking me. Between us, we should be able to return the "favor" to this monkey ass. I don't think thief thought we'd be so relentless is going after him. He be getting big surprises.

There has been activity under your screen name on USN. A couple of times in the last week, I think. No posts just online.

I wondered about the resolution of this issue, as Marauder220 has some knives for sale in the production section today. What is the status?
