Since I believe in "happy wife, happy life" I try to pay for my purchases via Usps mo her and on other forums which feed

my addictions. Over the years, I have been burned only once but I can assure you the the "postal inspectors" are less than

useless. As for the mo, it takes months before they will even process a claim. Life happens and perhaps the family is going

through something which puts you not at the top of their to do list. I would not write this off as yet. You have your proof ,

that's key. By now, the USPS should be able to trace if the mo has cleared.

These are pics that Marin Topic had Brandi Via send me before we closed the deal - the actual knife for sale. I know it looks like any other Busse SHSH2 but there are unique paint wear marks to the blade coating that someone who reads this may recognize as their knife. This will prove he sold me something he does not own.







 
I don't know if this will help you But once a deal on some gun parts started going like this on me... and this is what I did.
Made copies of the money order, all emails, between us then sent them to him by registered mail,
Told him he had 72 hours to get the parts to me,,, or I'll be forced to turn it all over to the police and postal authorities
For theft and fraud, I got it all in 2 days after he got the letter he sent them overnight.
Not worth knowing but the items was springs and a lonewolf barrel. Usually crooks are afraid of the Law.
 
Been busy the last few weeks. No further developments yet. Seeing my local Postmaster this week to push some more. Also plan on contacting their local LE and sending them copies of documentation.
 
Since he cannot be bothered to respond to this thread and make an effort to correct the situation, he's gone.
 
i agree with Nozyk....postal inspectors are useless,i had a claim for postal fraud back in 2003 or 4 they never did anything about it...you might get luckier with their police dept but i pretty much doubt that too...

This is one reason I will not buy anything with a money order through the mail. You essentially have no recourse if they mess you over. Pay Pal for me when I buy things from folks long distance. At least with Pay Pal you will have recourse, and can get your money back if they don't deliver. Stay on them, and get the law involved. I sure hope you get the knife, or your money back.
 
If you think you have no recourse using a USPS MO, you are incorrect. Under 18 U.S.C. § 1341, mail fraud is a federal felony, regardless of the amount involved. Penalties can be as high as 20 years in prison plus $250,000 in fines. You can establish a federal nexus in several ways, generally sending a USPS money order via USPS mail is sufficient. Because the USPS MO are backed by the US Treasury, you have the backing of the federal law.

I heard their address was 101 horn st. It could be the 133 address. I'm not sure
