I have been hesitant to make this posting mainly because I know how easy it is to get chewed out on here if you dont have every single fact straight, but at this point, I am posting this just for everyone else's sake, knowing that getting my item back isnt likely, and therefore having nothing to gain. I am callingh out KrazyK, we had set up a trade, and after sending him part of mine (other part would have been shipped to him direct from knfe company), I received a roll of pennies! Included is a picture of said pennies which are enclosed in blue masking tape. I have all email communications, I have already contacted the local PD where this guy lives, unfortunately, the value of my item isnt great enough to constitute any action above a misdemeaner, so if I want to press charges I would have to fly down myself to do so. The knife I sent him was a collectors edition Emerson Regiment #94 (I have $300 in it) so beware if you find one for sale! I am sorry if I'm leaving out anything crutial, being scammed around the holidays is tough, Way too many things going on!

Mail fraud, contact the postal inspectors not the local PD.

It's been going on for a good while. After multiple communications that I've seen on public forums he hasn't responded.

Follow post #2, wouldn't be a bad idea to post this guy's info as well, maybe somebody lives close to him and could help you out.I got scammed once, I went to every forum telling mods the guys name and what he did, I never got my money back, or knife but just so happened a friend I served with lived very close to the guy who ripped me off.

Hate to see stuff like this. Hope you get your knife back.

Makes me wonder why the roll of coins? Trying to make the box weigh the same? Seems like this clown has been there done this a few times.

What a douche bag.... This kinda of stuff scares me - hope it works out somehow.

Don't let a couple bad apples ruin this for you, no need to be scared , I've traded A LOT been ripped once and it wasn't on this forum, mostly the knife community is an honest community with good ,honest people but you've got your few that try to scam, and again the knife community is good pepole they will bend over backwards to take out the trash , and help someone who was wronged.

Curious Allen, Which site did you scammed on? would like to avoid it. I don't trade on any knife sites besides this one also.

OP also wondering why you would trade with somebody that has no trade feedback and not even a basic member. The way that package is taped up says alot about this POS. A barely hanging on label pisses me off.

What is the serial number of the stolen knife? On that note anyone purchasing a similar knife in the near future should ask the seller for the serial number.

Serial number on my knife that was stolen was #94, and i fully intend on filling out a mail fraud claim when i can get all the information I have on him organised, there were some really helpful people who helped me find out some info on him, I will post what I have on him now, I didnt at first because I didnt know if that was OK here

The name on the slip is Kevin Louis, but someone researded the address i was given, and the property of the house is owned by a woman named Karen Lewicki, further research showed that there is someone living at that property named Kevin L Lewicki, so im assuming he just used his middle name as his last. The address in question is 2317 Briarcliff RD, Kingsport TN. 37660. The email he used was kevin_l_@live.com

And Ulf, i guess im a little too trusting, he told me that the knife was for his brother who is in thw army, and that he wanted to give it to him for christmas because he's a big marfione fan (the second part of my trade was supposed to be an anax), i just didnt think anyone in general on this site would lie about their relatives being in service, and i had looked at his page and saw he had posted on other sales threads in the past and has been a member for a few years

The Kingsport, TN address rang a bell with me. Our infamous Scott McGee who lives in Saltville, VA also goes by the alias Jordon (Jordan) Depew who happens to have an address in Kingsport, TN. Perhaps we need to add another alias to the list? This guy (or guys) is cleaning house here on Blade Forums.

Also, Kingsport is only 60 miles away from Saltville. And, Jordan Depew's address (below) is only 3.5 miles away from Kevin (Louis) Lewicki's address.

Jordan Depew

A roll of pennies? What a first class piece of (insert)

Sorry to hear this OP, always appreciate people coming on here and helping the rest of us navigate through the good and bad.

That sucks... can I propose a trusted buddy shipping method? Maybe some of the people with higher ratings could serve as shipping middle point. When two people want to trade, they can agree on one shipping buddy (with the three parties approval), and both ship to that person, who will then ship both packages again to the two parties. If one of the packages does not get to him, he can return the other one after some time. Both parties would have to pay some fee to the shipping buddy for his shipping costs, and his time to do this.

This may not make sense when trading $20 knifes, but when you are talking about $400, the 'cost' of adding a trusted party may be worth.

M.
