Scammer Alert - Nitaino

Yup and saved me the hassle of shipping it back plus fees. Not bad for a child, "dericdesmond". Ha!

I've never dealt with paypal regarding an issue like this....it does seem odd/unusual. However, regarding the listing of the knife as new, after purchasing it as used and then relisting/selling it as used appears shady?? I'm not saying it is as I wasn't part of the original transaction....all I'm saying is the perception of shadiness is out there. Since this thread has been started, your reputation would benefit with a simple explanation of your reasoning behind the transaction. Best of luck to both of you.....

It is not used. The blade was convexed which was already stated and shown in the pics provided. That aside, Do you or the scammer care to explain how attempting to open multiple claims to the tune of 2200.00 is somehow justified if all you wanted was a refund, that was never asked for I might add.

For the record my integrity is just fine as anyone who has dealt with me already knows. I will go way over and beyond to provide excellent customer service but I will not sit around and be scammed by some low life. I had thought the point of the GBU forum was to make others in the community aware of potential problem people since that is not the case, No problem I won't bother wasting my time helping out in the future and that will be the last thing I sell on the exchange here.

To be fair once alterred it needs to be reclassified as lnib rather than new. The description category should have been changed on that first try at the ad. The PayPal issue certainly wasn't the buyers fault. I've seen that happen and it all gets rectified at the end. Carry on all.

Member Nitaino, Steve Vasquez, purchased a Busse Hellrazor then files a Paypal claim later that afternoon, probably after he figures it shipped, claiming non receipt. Then emailing to complain that I bought it a few weeks prior for 49 dollars cheaper.

So what? No one forces you to post "i'll take it" then login to Paypal and pay for it.

I have several business and run over 2 million in sales through Paypal per year and have a personal relationship with them, They called me to let me know Steve called them trying to open multiple claims for the same transaction, Guess what? Let's get one of our fraud specialists in here.

When I called him on his crap, his response-

"Right. Dont play dumb, how are you gonna file a fraud case if i never even recieved your item. I'm from New York City, not some cabin in the woods. Disappointing coming from a well known sheath maker. Shame on you."

Yep shame on me for going the extra little bit to make sure Paypal is aware of your activities.

Save yourself some frustration and avoid this guy. This is exactly why I do not sell to low post count people on here.

so I get screwed over because I don't buy that much because he ripped you off?? I only buy or trade what I want or need. I have never ripped some one off. I am sorry that you feel that way.

No you don't Richard. This is the weirdest online community in the world. Everyone is basically honest and pyscho obsessed about knives. I've done maybe 7 or 8 transactions with zero issue. I've never seen such honesty in a hobby forum before but that might be because I was into paintball at an earlier time in my life and shady deals abounded.

I think skystorm could have handled this better like outing 'tainos name was a little tacky especially since it was his not so accurate description that caused this in part. This definitely could be argued either way I.e. is the convex reprofilng common to this knife and did he do nitaino a favor? But what if nitaino was a collector and wanted an untouched blade he should not have purchased that knife as it said that the blade was profiled. So who is at fault or more realistically there is a bit of blame on both parties and therefore a push and everyone should carry on and stop being so touchy about the whole thing.

Well since we're not abiding by Rycens request that only the two involved parties post here it seems pretty clear what happened here.

-Skystorm bought used knife
-Skystorm flipped same knife for what ever reason and misrepresented the condition.
-Nataino bought misrepresented knife and paid via PayPal.
-Nataino realized the knife was misrepresented and he contacted PayPal to file a claim and he probably got the run around from them and called back multiple times to get a different person who was willing to help him.
-PayPal some how crossed wires and has multiple claims open.
-Skystorm then came here claiming he was scammed when in reality he enganged in fraud.
-Now hopefully when people do a search for his company this thread will come up and people can decide to engage in buisiness with him or not a little better informed.

One "Oh S%*€" wipes out a whole lotta "atta boys".

I just looked at the ads. Makes the seller come off as really, really shady! Thanks seller for bringing light to yourself! With so many stars, I hope to presume that it was a mistake on his part to have listed it as new.

I don't believe it was a mistake, he defended posting as new in this thread.

Where's the ambiguity? Skystorm purchases a used knife on ebay, relists it as new. After purchasing it, Nitaino discovers this error and cancels the transaction. Skystorm subsequently relists it on ebay as used. Nitaino pre-emptively saved himself time and money by cancelling the deal. It was the intelligent way to handle it.

Like I said he has like 2K plus stars. So I'm hoping that was an accident and not just the seller trying to be a profiteer. I only have 274 transactions which is a lot but not as many as his. In my last sale, I accidentally ticked off the box that marked my item as not working for parts even though its New in Box. Stupid ebay has all these new and unneeded description boxes and makes the whole posting of items confusing. So just giving the benefit of the doubt to the seller. Although I am admitting that at surface level it looks stupid shady and dishonorable on the sellers part.

How do I get a signature do I need to buy a gold membership? I want to use Nitaino's quote, ""Right. Dont play dumb, how are you gonna file a fraud case if i never even recieved your item. I'm from New York City, not some cabin in the woods."

:D

He shouted me out on this forum, trying to get ahead. I was gonna keep it between us, for this same reason. I didn't want sellers thinking twice about selling to me, figuring everyone would take his side, since he's well known. Once you know something is suspect, wouldn't anyone contact paypal?? Otherwise, why use paypal?? I knew knife was convexed and i even emailed him to make sure it wasn't used. He said it was just convexed. I have email thread as proof. I actually got outbidded on the original auction on ebay because i didnt wanna pay that much for a used one. This is the exact reason why i only use paypal, because although most people in this forum seem legit/thustworthy, there's always someone who wants to be slick. As John J. Rambo said "He drew first blood, not me". The End.

At least Skystorm now knows what everybody from NYC knows...that "DDD" Dominicans Don't Play and DFWTR Don't f*** with the Ricans! :D

I grew up in Gunset Park, Brooklyn before getting out I should know this more than anyone. With that further information adds to the the legitimacy that the seller was indeed shady. His sheaths look stupid good though!

I think we're done here.

@
cchu518 - watch your language. replacing letters with "***" doesn't do anything.
