In October 2010 I sent Jeff $200 for some custom Hinderer knife scales.

For over 2 years he has been promising the scales, then a refund, then no reply to my emails.

I guess the money is gone now but at least I can warn others of his antics.

If he ever does refund me I'll update this thread.

I know he had problems with heath etc. and I couldn't have been more understanding but I give up now.

I don't know if he still steals knives and money but I see he has a new "business" doing decking etc.

Hopefully this feedback will show in a Google search for that business too, until he pays his debts to me and the dozens of others he has scammed over the years.

You aren't the first. Tis has happened to a lot of people over the years. However, if anyone bothers to do some research before blindly sending money to this guy will see the many threads started before yours as well as this one. Coincidentally, he has been banned from these forums for some time now. It would be nice if you received a refund, but I doubt it.

2 years ago I did search but he only had great feedback when I sent him money. Hopefully threads like this will warn future prospective victims.

My SmF will never come back, I'm sure.
He also sent in to USPS for the insurace money (they confimed that), but he said they were supposed to send it to me.
More lies...it doesn't work that way.
I've even offered to just take $200 and move on, but of course that never happened either.
I hope he accidentally stabs himself in the leg with my SmF, the theiving dork.:thumbdn:
 
I left him a nice note on his new biz website! Maybe if we all flood his inbox we will get somewhere? I hate scum like this!!
 
He's updated his site and pulled all his youtube videos.

I would advise you to count your losses and move on. People have not gotten anything out of this person in years if at all. He has not shown any interest in repairing his reputation to any extent. Simply put, he doesn't care about the membership here or elsewhere. If you are waiting, you might find yourself waiting for an eternity.

Well, instead of a worthless promise, I got no reply so far. Guess it's nothing to be surprised at. I just wonder why he went through the trouble of setting up his website to deal with stale orders.

He doesn't even bother to repeat the same lies anymore.
