Scariest Looking Folders (EDC)

The scariest knife I saw was the bloody steak knife used in a stabbing/attempted murder in my apartment.


The blood remained on the sidewalk outside my place for months on end.
 
of the ones I have/had-pocket hobbit, matriarch, spyderhawk, gunting, skirmish, el hombre, A/F combat folder, afck, and my SERE attack II has gotten some looks (that's not even the big one :))

Realy? I find the Tripwire to resemble more a Tool than a knife. Its got the kind of construction that makes me think more of a wrench than a knife. That's just me, though.

Last time I pulled out my full serrated Spydie Police a woman I work with said"AAAAiiiiiioooooooooooooooowwaaaggaa!!:eek: :eek: :eek: WHAT IS THAT FOR?!?!?!"
I think I scared her a bit.:p
 
Pocket Hobbit, forgot about that knife.

Wish someone had picked up REKAT's designs, some of them were nice and unique.

If Spyderco, Benchmade (a natural choice), Al Mar (another natural choice), or anyone made it with a good steel, that is a good.

More cheap revamps of good designs we do not need.Bad, bad, ...
 
I don't think anyone has yet mentioned Cold Steel's six inch Ti-Lite. It looks like the kind of knife most people associate with "weapon". Of course if I actually wanted to frighten someone, I'd use a bowie knife or a shotgun. If you're really serious about self defense, get a concealed carry permit. Knives should only be relied on for self defense when you can't carry a gun.

My heart skipped a beat when that abomination came into view when I scrolled down. Damn that thing is huge. Its a sword.

It is big, but I don't consider it scary.;)
 
Any fully serrated, large folder from Spyderco is pretty frightening.
I am flat out scared of my SS serrated Police.
