Last year for our Anniversary my wife said she wanted to take care of plans. I hadn't heard anything so I just assumed we were going out to dinner or something. After work, we jumped in the car and she started driving, not telling me where we were going. Before long it became obvious we were heading up to the mountains. Turns out she had called my boss and arranged for me to have time off from work and we spent a long weekend at a hotel up in the mountains.
Anniversary in October? Grab a bottle of wine, a couple of glasses and pack up some food (a lite meal or crackers & cheese) then steal her away for a picnic - weather permitting. There are some gorgeous spots in KY and hopefully the leaves will cooperate with your plans!
Anniversary wise.... Couple of days on a houseboat with jet skies as quick transportation is always good.
Pictures- I'm on a Guatemala kick today...
Metal framed bridge topped with Mahogany. Lower layer is 6" to 10" thick, top layer is about 4" thick.
I asked multiple people what the wood was and went and looked for myself. It is Mahogany.
James Bond and Transformers merged- I introduce you to the new Bumblebee!
Thanks for an awesome GAW, As far as the Anniversary, what ever you end up doing... You should also send flowers or candies to her at work, even women who dont like flowers, love them when their friends and co-workers are around to be envious of them. ... Women!
I leave letters for my wife, all over the place, just little mementos, stuff like "have a great day, I love you" and "You're beautiful, smile like you know it" Anyway I do this all the time, but she always loves finding them.... If its not something you do, maybe on that day sneak a few letters in places like her shoes, purse, car, ect. Just make sure you put them in places where she will find them that day, since thats the special day.
It is indeed and this one is basically NIB. The hard part is going to be getting myself to lovingly use it. USA Schrades are my grail.
I didn't really know what a tin knife referred to till this thread. I'm not sure whether to put a handle on it or keep it like it is so's I can stow it in some tight spot for emergencies.
