The 8OT is a Premium Stockman (nominally 4") while the 34OT is the Medium Stockman at 3-5/16". Both are serpentine framed, square bolstered pocketknives. Schrade USA was known for making quality knives at standard prices. In my opinion their pocketknives were the Chevy or Ford of the knife world, while Case was the Cadillac and Buck was the Oldsmobile - not a perfect simile, but as good as you will get from this educated redneck. They were also well respected for the edges their blades achieved using 1095 family blade steel. You got a lot for the money with a Schrade knife. OHCan someone explain the basic difference between these models and what makes one so desirable?
