Score of The Month: Post them Here

Knifeology! I saw it!

And you managed to pass it up?!? You're stronger than I am!

Here's my newest inbound. Not quite score of the month, but a nice honorable mention...

Beautiful, love the walnut and the older hardware!

I love the small, and this has been a grail for me, small Regular Sebenza BG-42, since this is my only CRK score of the year so far, it's getting put in all the appropriate threads :o

It appears that we may need to retitle this thread to "Score of the week" for some! Nice looking mnandi, Lone_Wolfe!

Yes .... I saw it and had to do a double take. Mark only deals in customs. I thought about it for about a second, then dropped him an email telling him I wanted it. No box or birth certificate ..... but overall, looks to be in great condition. Truth be told .... I stopped by the site after receiving my "new listings" alert hoping that he picked up one or two of Steve Kelly's knives that were taken to SHOT. Low and behold .... there was that Sebenza begging for a new home!

Unfortunately, it's going to spend probably all of February back at the factory :thumbdn:
Hard to show in a pic, but the ball doesn't go into the detent hole when closed :(

This is my score of January (the small). It isn't my fanciest, rarest, or most unique Sebenza by far, but it is the only one I have ever seen born on my birthday. And I have been looking for a small plain jane without the Idaho Made stamp for a long time. Now I have a matched pair! I'm having a bit of a plain jane renaissance with these two.

This is the one I consider my score of the month. Does anyone know what the stone is? I scored this one without any papers but I do know it's from the 90's.

Judging from the pic, I think you have a blue Zircon. Can you get a straight-on pic that shows it's color well? Also, does it change color at all between incandescent and flourescent light?

It almost looks like there's a galaxy in there like the Men in Black movie.

You mean you collect sebenzas too!?! :) When was the last time you posted a collection shot?

And congrats on a very interesting find. It looks to be a very unique piece.
