Does anybody have scottickes contact info. Last year I sent back a bowie I purchased from him that had the hidden tang handle crack in several places. We kept in contact through time, however I have not had contact back since Dec. 8. I have sent PM, but he has not been on here since Dec. 10, and I do not have an email or phone number for him. He seemed to be on the level with me, but 3 months without contact seems a bit much.

If anybody could help it would be greatly appreciated as this was my first custom bowie, and so far any firsts with custom makers have not concluded well for me.
 
Found his e-mail info and phone number but he was moving a while ago so I do not know if it is the same. I'll post back when I know more.
 
Sorry for my absence. I've been on the road out of state on numerous projects nearly all year. My wife was also very sick in early January and spent about two weeks in the hospital. She has recovered and is doing well.

I haven't made but one knife in the last two years. I miss my shop!

Most jobs slow down in a slow economy. For me, however, many of our customers are looking for unique ways to cut costs and that's what I do for my companies customers. With all of our customers looking for ways to cut corners, I've become extremely busy with many projects going on. I usually average about 130 nights in hotel rooms in a normal year. This year I'm already at about 60 nights in hotels out of state and in state, with some of them on weekends. I've also been on 42 flights and driven about 20,000 miles already. I really hope this works out and results in one hell of a raise and bonus next year!

One of the times in mid march when my wife picked me up at the airport, she jokingly asked when I got into the car if she could see my drivers license to prove that I really was her husband. This sucks!

I'll be working on your bowie as time allows. I have it started, just need to find time to finish it up.

I've heard nothing from Scott since the last message here and despite emailing a couple of times in the last few months. Communication is nice, my knife would be nicer. I understand that things happen to keep people busy, but please keep in touch- 5 months without update.....
