Scrap Yard Knives?

I came across an add in my new Blade for Scrap Yard Knives. The picture appears to be an assortment of Swamp Rats mixed in with ashes and garbage and the description reads:

"From a Rat Infested
Nuclear Scrap Yard
come a New Breed of
High Performance
Bladeware...
...Scrap Yard Knives."

It also had a link to a website: www.scrapyardknives.com, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Is there any relation to Swamp Rat here? Perhaps this is the name of the new line?

I can see the handle of a Bog Dog for sure. You can see an entire tan Camp Tramp covered in ashes, and the various handles of what could be many different models. I think I may even see a Busse Basic handle in the top center of the page.
 
I wonder what this is all about ;) I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I can figure it out at Blade show....or maybe I'll figure it out sooner ;)

I couldn't stand another knife company. The two are driving me to exhaustion from working OT just to cover my knife bills now!:D
 
I wonder if they will have a phone number at the shop that you can actually call during business hours? Or will you be blacklisted, as is the case with the Rat blades?! :confused:
 
I'm a little disappointed that their site doesn't work. Why advertise a site that isn't online?
 
Whatever these new blades look like, I don't want one covered in Jerry's cigar ashes. Would someone in the shop clean off the ashes first before they ship me my new Junk Yard blade, please? :p
 
I have a feeling that the website is going to come online a little closer to Blade. Bring it on. My CC is charged and ready to go.
