After a weary bout of computerized confusion, Spots05 will have Scrapyard steel in hand before the sun sets Monday evening, 2 days from today. And the rascal even talked me down to $120. If I remember correctly, after tax and shipping that's about what you could get them for off the Scrapyard website back when they were still available. The only downer about the Scrapper 6 is that once you have it, you realize that you really don't need another knife. Thanks for the replies. Happy chopping to all!!!!

I recieved a refund through paypal so I assume the knife is not coming. It is a shame when a simple honest purchase can't be made especially on such a good forum site as this.

This is confusing. George said he sent the knife. You say PayPal gave you your money back. Let us know if you receive the knife on Monday.

This has always been my contention: When you want to buy a knife from a reputable company, you send them money and wait for a knife. When you want to buy from an individual you don;t know, you wait for knife and then send them money.

Which is worth more: the knife? or the money? ?????

Most of the comments on this thread should have been handled via PM/email. Praises or Complaints about a deal should have been in the Good, Bad, and Ugly forum. This is not the appropriate place for bad comments, this is a Sale forum, not a chat forum.

Any continued commentary will get a warning/infraction.

I'm locking this thread, it is very confusing if the knife is sold, if it has been shipped.

George if the knife deal fell through and it is once again for sale I would suggest that you start another thread, this one is a mess.
