This user claims no emails from multiple people including myself. I sent emails through here and my regular email. Posted as seen for the Sure Fire pen before any others, yet he sales it to someone way down the post. What is the deal???? I thought first post/take it gets it, or has that rule been disregarded????

Semper Fi,

You claim in the thread that you were the first to say that you would take the Surefire pen. But that's not true. You only said you were "interested". Wolfstyle was the first to state in the thread that he would take it. What happened via email we do not know. But the thread speaks for itself. Saying you are interested is not the same as saying you will take it.

Sellers can reserve the right to sell to whomever they wish with explanation but most follow the first dibs approach. The thing with first dibs is that a flat "I'll take it" will trump a "I'm interested in ___", "PM sent on the ___", "I'll take it with conditions", "I'll take it pending photo/answer to questions", etc. most everytime. If you really want something at the price and terms stated your best chance is a quick "I'll take it" followed by an immediate PM and email to the seller. I know it can suck missing out on something and I hope it works out better for you next time.

Don't know what actually went on behind the scene here. Someone else could have sent an email first, committing to buy.

FWIW, Sellers can sell to whomever they want to. Even to someone who wasn't the first to post...

As the others have said it's the sellers prerogative to sell to whoever they choose.
