Hey Guys,

Looking to buy my wife a knife for her birthday. She always carries one of mine when we're camping bit I think she'd enjoy having her own.

Looking for something on the smaller side, maybe 2.75-3" and something that you can get in some nice colors.

Top of my list right now in a pink Mini Griptilian but I wanted to see if anyone had some better options. I considered things like the Dragonfly but I can't help but feel it doesn't have the "cool" factor gong for it. Budget is around $100.

As always, thanks guys!

Lots of choices!
- Civivi elementum (really, Civivi anything)
- one of the upgraded exclusive Delica, the DLT one comes to mind
- kershaw link, dividend, one of the exclusive colorful ones
- Kizer swaggs Swayback (great package opener, designed by Swaggs)
- CJRB Maileah on the small side, but very very fidgety. Has an exclusive if you search for it ;)
- CJRB feldspar, Ria, etc. Knifecenter has exclusives that are nice
- Kershaw leeks, Scallions, etc. Lots of different trims and colors
....

Edit: gonna add a personal favorite of mine, the Spyderco Cat, love this little knife! You can also try a jazzed up Chaparral.

Hahe fun shopping!

When my wife and I were dating I bought her a SAK to carry in her car. I think it was a Victorinox Super Tinker. At the time she just said thank you but I could tell she was just being polite. She really did not see a need for a knife outside of the kitchen.

It has now been over ten years since I purchased that folder. Today she has another SAK on her keychain, a purple handled Endura, and a Leatherman knife for in her pack.

Out of all of thoskeychain SAK gets the most use.

Start there.

EDIT: Grammar

Make sure the knife you choose has a lock style that your wife likes imo. We picked up a Mini Grip for my wife but she doesn't ever use it because she's just not a fan of the Axis lock. She by far prefers a back lock if given the choice, and the Dragonfly is the favorite of all her knives.

View attachment 1619496Mantra 2. Had one purpled for the girl...liked it enough that I bought another for myself, and had mine acid etched & stonewashed.
Doesn't quite make your budget; but I wanted to show that you've got options beyond the standard selection. (Can probably get cerakoting done locally for a better price than from the knife guys)

Dragonfly obviously. A small knife that punches way above its weight class, offered in a variety of colors or decorated stainless, best of all it fits in the mostly useless small pockets of ladies pants.
