Seat belt cutter on a folder?

J jaseman , How about some pictures?

Of what? What’s in my truck? It’s nothing exciting, but next time I’m out there, I’ll try to snap some pics.

If you mean racing stuff, I’ll have to see if I have any, but we usually don’t take pics of incidents. My gear bag is in the camper, so maybe at some point I’ll write up a post in Gadgets and Gear with everything that goes in the bag.

I wonder how many things become missiles when the passenger side airbag is set off.

Luckily, probably not many. Side curtain airbags are often mounted either on the A-pillar or along the top window edge, and the front airbag comes out what is normally a fairly vertical surface with no trays or compartments blocking the way. I think a lot of it is regulated by the NTSB.

The bigger issue is passengers who keep their feet on the dashboard. There have been lots of dislocated or broken bones do to that in a crash.

FWIW, when I was on active duty as an LEO, I carried was one of these:

Never rescued anyone from a car using it but I cut off a lot of plastic cuffs w/it. LOL!!! ;)

I guess that works too lol. I imagine you could also use it for those annoying shirt tags.
