Ummm, yeah... Interesting, definitely an original combo, and the pix looks good, but...uhhhh... wow!! You lost me after bacon...however, I really don't like walnuts & bleu cheese, so that would explain it! :D ...Now if Amy ever wants to try a shrimp & bacon cheesecake, I volunteer to try that one!! ;):thumbup:

I would love to try it. It's got the sweet and salty thing going, with the addition of savory/umami from the blue cheese

I've served many "savory cheesecakes." No sugar, bread crumbs instead of graham cracker.

Stilton cheese and walnut, dash of cayenne and nutmeg.

Bacon sounds good too!

O, and you guys did well, nobody would have believe it without pictures =)
 
I can see why you miss it, Bossman. That is possibly the most AWESOME looking cheesecake I have ever seen!

That looks really good, I suspect dipping each bite in Ranch dressing would really put that over the top!

as odd as it sounds and looks, i would bet the taste contrasts created a unique and wonderful experience.
