Seb backspacer conversion!

I wanted to do that for quite some time. My initial idea was to drill/chamfer lanyard hole and install addtional screw-set, but... I wanted to keep the backspacer unit easy to install without any modifications to the knife. Well, in fact it was Chris himself, who solved my problem, when he introduced Umnumzaan with lanyard "bolt". And today, after quite some experimenting, I made my backspacer unit! It adds grip and works as "impact device". It's also small enough so that the knife still can be described as "open frame" and can be cleaned easily. Of course there is no lanyard hole any more, but lanyard would be only a problem when I'd need to use this backspacer in impact_mode. What do you think about such a conversion? Of course it takes a minute or so to get back to original config

Awsome Modification !!! I know you would sell plenty if you offered these. I know I would buy one !!!

Those look fantastic! It seems like you'd get a better grip on the end with those ridges. Excellent work, and if you ever make extra you had better let us here get a crack at them

If that is made of titanium, I really need one for my unique Sebenza.
My lanyard "bolt" is heading my way now.

That's pretty cool. How does the landyard pin/bolt stay in? Is it pressed into your piece? Mine falls out with no cord through it.

Looks like there's a pin in it.

I too like it and would probably grab one up. They're probably not cheap though.

I like this mod ! You know, as an impact device, could the butt be more pointed for shattering glass windows ? This should start a trend as to the applicability of the conversion, I think.
