Do you need to send the knife in once you order the blade or do you send it in when they say it is ready? Just purchased a basically bnib small sebenza 21 insingo in S35vn made in 2016. I would like to eventually get a magnacut blade for it.

You’ll need to call or email them to get the order started. Once the new blade is complete, you have to send your entire knife in so the new blade can be fit.

I think we ordered at the right time, this thread was started a while ago. My 21 was received and I received an email with a 6-9 week turnaround.

Pretty much 4 weeks turnaround from when asked to ship. Ordered 9/17 (told 6 month wait), was told to ship 11/5 and received 12/10. I guess two months from start to finish.

Do they also give you back the old blade?

jeepin , they sure do! Old drop point blade in my case, pivot bushing and washers returned. My 2014 DOB had some slick and almost ebony looking scales from dirt and grime. The micarta feels and looks brand new, I really like the glass bead finish. If you wanted a magnacut blade for a 21, this would be a good time.

and it doesnt matter which model, 21,31. like if i was tempted to order a 31 small insingo blade, i dont need to trade in my drop point or anything?

I did this with my small 21 a few years ago. I initially bought a drop point, but was wanting another Insingo. So I sent it off after the 9-10 month wait time, and it took a few weeks turn around time before I got it back. Now I have both the insingo and drop point blade for my 21.

thanks for the tip, ive carried the drop point for a bit, but i found i do like the insingo blade more, so ill probably end up doing the same at some point.

Mine finally shipped back to me. It arrived CRK on 11/12/24 and shipped out on 12/26/24. A little longer than chairman moe .

Just got my small 21 insingo back from the mothership. Happy to have a MC 21. They needed to re-heat treat my lockbar, so sadly they had to reblast the scales. Quick turnaround in my book, arrived at crk the Monday before Thanksgiving.

Oh, how I’ve missed it.
