Sebenza 25 Micarta

As far as looks, I'm definitely not getting one, my plain 25 will be just fine.
I reserve the right to change my mind once I get one in hand.

Would look awesome with a one piece "Regular" style inlay. I don't think cost is the issue, we all know that we'd pay more for a larger inlay and so does Mr. Reeve.

WHAT IN THE WORLD???!!!!! I'm sorry, but that is just awful. I am a HUGE supporter on CRK and Mr. Reeve, but I can not for the life of me understand why they would do this. I would love to see a one piece inlay like the Annuals. I miss them already.

That is the first I have seen of this, and I do not care for the looks of that at all.

Reading this thread is funny because there's probably only 1 person so far that is actually ok with the new look.

The thing looks absolutely dreadful, hahahaha.:barf:

Maybe they are designed to compliment the blade notch?

Let's face it fellas, the 25 is truly STEEPED IN CONTROVERSY!! Blade notch, finger choils, no bushing, hot-spot pocket clip, new packaging, and now these inlays. Do you ever get the feeling someones screwing with your mind? ;)

Meh.. Not terrible. I plan to never buy a 25 and just stick with the real Sebenzas so they can pretty much do whatever they want with the 25 and it doesn't bother me in the least. These will sell out and be backordered everywhere I'm sure.

So...is that how the wood inlaid 25's are going to look? No thanks. I'll stick with my micarta 21.

Not sure I like this one either. Now if they made wider inlays or a solid inlay like the annuals that might look better. I prefer my plain 25 to the one pictured.

I feel that the 25 is the finest knife that has come from CRK but the design of the inlays does not match the flow of the knife at all. I hope that it will change or perhaps some better pics might change my view of it.

Wow, not a fan at all.

The inlays look to thin for that knife, and I honestly thought it was a joke at first.

I also hate how the top piece is straight and the bottom curves.

I tend to like funky looking things, but that is bad funky imo. lol

I was really hoping for one piece inlays for the 25.

There were dozens of ways to make the inlays look good, but this is not one of them. Crk, please reconsider.

I was hoping for a solid inlay with the new 25, I don't like space between the inlays.

X1

But will reserve my likes/dislikes until I hold it. ie: what if it fits my hand perfectly? Then the function makes for a better knife. On a purely visual note, I had hoped for a larger single inlay like the annuals.

Your milage may vary.
