I wouldn't call it measaly. I would call it a beautiful collection!
Thanks for the review SG. I've got this on my short list after your review! Can you tell us if a small seb will fit in the box with the blade opened up?
I finally had a chance to investigate this.
A small Sebenza 21 will fit -- just barely -- while fully open in the bottom tray. But of course, because of the top tray, you won't be able to see the open knife through the glass.

Unfortunately, it won't fit in the top tray when it's fully open. It's too long.

But it will fit when partially opened and leaned against a compartment divider.

Finally, this picture shows that there is enough clearance for the top to close.

I hope this is helpful. I continue to think that this is a great knife display box.
I plead the defense of necessity -- it's the only small Sebenza that I own.
Will probably order this case too from Plaza Cutlery.. Been searching for awhile but just couldn't find any other online..
They are however out of stocks...
Thanks for the awesome photos and review of this box SG.. I was hesitant to buy this case last year...

I need a box like that for my collection.

For anyone interested in a larger and much more interesting Sebenza storage box, I came across this one. It's a one-off, but I believe the guy is willing to build more.
The lid is glass, divided into two halves:

The halves separate in the middle, and each half lifts up and then slides down into the side wall of the case. It's hard to describe but very cool in action. In the picture below, the halves are stowed away.
Inside sits a tray with 10 compartments. They look big, probably big enough to hold more than one knife.

Once the tray is lifted out, there's an open storage area. When a special pin is used, a hidden compartment emerges from the bottom. This picture shows the pin in use and the compartment partially open.

We're all trying to picture this. I'm thinking of a gigantic coffee table with a glass lid.
