I have decided to order a Sebenza. Anyone know of a good place to order a new Large Seb 21 would be. If your allowed to tell me over the fourm.

Any of the Major CRK Dealers would be great. Since CRK Supports The Forum, it should be okay to list some dealers. Without CRK and these dealers, the forum would nt be what it is today........The Best In The Land !!! Plaza Cutlery, TNK, New Graham, Only Fine Knives are some of the dealers I have dealt with over the years and they all have excellent service. The price will be the same for them all. TNK because they are in Canada charges a bit for shipping, but they also have exclusives only available through them. Good Luck, Post on the CRK forum what you get !!!

My new sebenza is on the way. Large sebenza 21 w/ double thumb lugs

Where did you end up ordering it from? i'm going to place an order for a small 21 later today/tomorrow morning. haven't decided where... I want free shipping, and speed.

do any of the dealers have the CRK grease? i looked at a few and couldn't find any, and if i had to pay shipping, i'd like to do it only once.

a few offer free shipping I believe. Dont know about the grease. I know grand prairie knives doesfree shipping on sebenzas i get orders from them in 2 or 3 days, not sure if they have all models in stock but the site is gpknives.com

You will certainly enjoy your Sebenza.

If you don't, feel free to pack it up and send it to me. :)

As for the grease, I'm not sure it's necessary. I used mine regularly for 3 years, maybe a bit more, before I decided to take it apart and clean it. When I was reassembling it I put plenty of Tough Glide on the moving parts and I give it a few drops now and then when I touch it up. Works just as well as the day I got it.

I was hoping to use paypal... found this on their info page:

"- Payments must be received before we will ship the product. - Orders paid using the Paypal payment method may not exceed $300.00. "

Edit: i'm not sure if i'm allowed to ask about it. Does anyone know how fast Knivesshipfree.com is? I live in CA

Derek at KSF is a member here - and an awesome knife-dealer. He ships every work day; he is busy on Sundays. His CRK prices are list - like everyone else - but he does include s/h in his prices. Availability is noted on his site. He'll treat you right!

Thanks, i think i'll go with KSF over knifeworks, if they're both fast shipping. That way i get the $16 credit for later.

I don't think you'll see much variance on the pricing among the dealers. I use Truenorthknives because they ship from Canada and I don't have to worry about crossing the border.

Unfortunately, because of CRK's price-fixing policy, there is no much difference who you buy it from. Some authorized dealers offer better customer service, and a few go around the MSRP issue by offering pivot tools & grease (for the 'Zaan, not sure what they do for a Sebbie).
