I got to say, I really like the design. Only problem is that it seems like something that I would be afraid to damage lol. How do you protect yours?

If you want one that doesn't look to good to actually use, get the plain one or the one with micarta inlay; those have blasted scales and tumbled blades. The wood-inlay ones have satin-brushed scales which do tend to tarnish easily, and the polished blade will show every scratch you make.

You can always use the flat leather pouch which comes standard with all but the first two types I mentioned, I carry mine like that in sheeple- and police- festered areas so that it's invisible  ;).

These pouches can also be bought separately, which also goes for the belt-pouch which they produce.

I don't protect my Small Classic Sebenza. I use it nearly everyday. I don't abuse it but I am not afraid to give it a good work out.

I use my large plain 21 Sebenza also. It doesn't sratch that easily. Regardless you can use it a couple years and then send it to CRK's spa and they will make it just like new again.

It Probably just the hype then, because truly, I like the way it looks better than the Strider design, mostly because it just looks very smooth and just over all amazing. But when it comes right down to it do you recommend buying it? what kind of tasks do you regularly put it through?

my sebenza is (primarily) a fishing knife.

sounds like you want a sebenza just to have one. if you got the $400+ to have such a luxury go for it. you want to target a model other than the plain version...

Absolutely. The Sebenza is amazing in the fact that it really has no flaws. From the simple things like the pocket clip to the blade shape to the materials used it is really a great knife. The fit and finish also is excellent.if you don't mind spending the money you can't go wrong.

I currently bounce between a small classic Seb & an Umnum, depending on whether I want to carry a lg. or small folder. I use it for whatever I need to use a knife for, period.

I have had a micarta Seb & those are great, but I had a lg. classic that I had a G-10 scale made for & that was great, too. I plan on doing the same for the small Seb. I find that a solid G-10 scale lightens up the Seb a little, adds grip, & it does knock down how beat-up the Seb might look (Scratches).

Having had 3 different SnGs & 3 different PTs, along with 5 different Sebs, & 1 Umnum. I'm currently down to only 1 Seb & the Umnum. It's all I need. I'm honestly having a hard time using my other folders & I have some nice ones (Lum Chinese, BM 760 M4, CF Stretch 2 ZDP, P'Kal, ZT 0500 Mudd, etc).

If you like it, get it & use it.

I have 3 CRK's in my daily rotation, One day I carry a large classic polished sebenza on my rt side in a CRK belt sheath along with a small sebenza double lugs in a CRK calf skin pouch in my lft frt pocket. The next day I carry my Umnumzaan on my rt side in the pouch & the small sebenza in the calf skin pouch in my lft frt pocket. I have removed all the pocket clips & installed the CRK clip inserts on all my 5 sebenza's & 1 umnumzaan. They feel way better in your hand with no pocket clip & the clip insert covers the hole Perfect, Although they are a little pricey at $27.50 for the insert & polished new screw.
:D I could be a little compulsive do you think :D

:D:D:D Mr-Rickster :D:D:D

I have no problem using my Sebbies (Or my custom knives for that matter.), as I know I CAN send 'em back for refurb. It is a knife that is MEANT to be used. After all, Sebenza does mean WORK in Chris's native language. I get the most pleasure out of using my CRK's (And customs.)

Get a plain or with Micarta inlays and just use it. They really hold up well, never had a problem. And the wear it gets gives it character.:)

Obviously someone is getting annoyed with all my questions but I got to say, at my age I don't exactly make a steady income. Since people twice my age and older with more job experience are all trying to get jobs there really is nothing left for the younger people. WE need money too:D
What I'm trying to say is that I am buying this knife, and then since I don't really know how much money I am gunna get next, or even if I am going to get any at all, I have to make sure my purchase will be good.

I would definitely use it! I was just asking what it can handle! I think it would be awesome to just whip it out to solve some sort of problem! a lot of pride would come from using a knife like that...
