Hanging a poster like this on the wall of your dorm room does not encourage the girls to relax and embrace. A poster like this on your dorm room wall makes the girl feel like she's wandered into the wrong page of a slasher movie.

If you want to impress the girl with your knife skills, take her hiking. Raise a comfortable tent. Show her some foxes, deer and bunnies. Start a fire under the stars far away from city lights. Make her an edible meal after a day of moderate adventuresome exercise. Heat up some coffee to keep her awake.

The next morning, you'll find your need to go all Henry Rollins on us has weakened somewhat.

But really, "No Regrets"? Don't you think that's just a little over the top?

I have been lucky enough to have worked with some very smart people. One very bright woman use to tell me “Tony, [they] are too stupid to walk the face of the earth”.

When I read posts like that one, what she told me always comes to mind. I’m amazed that someone could be so mentally obtuse that they miss the boat about Busse by that much.

In any case, as she said life forms like that will be extinct soon enough :cool: :thumbup:


Anyway back to having fun and reading intent that isn't within the four corners of a page :D

Lets do a poll to see how many of us:

A. are over 25

B. live in a house not a dorm room

Most of the Hogs and Busse fans are an older distinquished lot of ladies and gents.... hence, we can afford the best

The booze that these guys are sipping on in here probably costs more than most people's knife collections.

And no I didn't put away the Glocks and 2 Battle Mistresses when hippy girlfriend came over for the first time.

This makes me curious, since I'm new around here and haven't been privy to the Busse lore or history. What should one know to not "miss the boat about Busse"? For example, what is important historical Busse info to "get" the company, what is Busse's connection to the armed forces, and how does the new logo represent the core of the company? What is the history of the company that would lead to the current logo of skull, blood, "no regrets," etc.? I imagine their may be other new Hogs besides myself that need the ol' history lesson some of you already know.
 
Under HOG's rough appearance there is deep understanding of life and pleasure. Unlike the general public who treat death as a taboo subject, HOG is at ease with its mortality. And because of such solid grasp of its existence, HOG is not pretentious hypocrite. HOG knows what it wants and has no hesitation to show the world its true color.

Show my date some foxes??? Gee. Whenever I've tried to bring her to the "ballet" or introduce another "friend" to the mix, it usually ends up bad. I never tried persuasion with a knife about it tho. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
 
Its awesome that Busse includes its HOGS in stuff like this. That’s part of what makes this company so GREAT. A full page add, that is so cool! Congrats to StanleyHog.:thumbup::thumbup:
 
I found the original post by thermocline offensive and juvenile, but come on, he's apologized. I know he's the first one to do this kind of thing in the Busse forum..........:foot::D:D If his apology is sincere, let's let this go.
