I have a couple of pairs of Reef sandals, never used the opener. You never know what you stepped in prior to opening your bottle. I once caught that metal appendage on an exposed bolt head on Santa Barbara pier, and about broke my ankle. I will not buy anymore til they stop the opener. They are great sandals otherwise. They are very durable. As for that knife, I guess I am just a traditional pocket carryin fuddy duddy.
 
About unconventional Sheath, LED and the bottle opener .. yeah things I find intersesting may be a big no no for many of you out there and that relates personal preferences and choices. However, the blade.. I can say the steel is not crappy at all.. It might outperform many of AUS8 or 420 HC I own.. If it is 1095 carbon steel used, it is a great steel that holds the edge very good. The rust on the edge however is a big turn off...

Ever try using the bottle opener to wedge open a split ring? Best tool for the job. ;)

I've seen the so-callled "Schrade" before, but it never gets any less ridiculous when I look at it. :rolleyes:
