selecting a Busse....

:D ....funny I think my two Godson's are already planning the split up of my gear just after the news from Africa arrives back.... :eek:
 
Nothing you mind loosing. I would go AMS or similar. Anything big may attract unwanted attention. Not sure on the political climate of MZ.

....MZ is OK and want their share of my money, the rifle and upto 60rds of ammunition is fine so I am not too concerned about the knife legally (though no MOAB etc is on the cards). I am not risk adverse on this either (given the cost of the whole venture) I am planning on taking just what makes me happy and if it ends up costing me $500 or so if lost/stole/gifted etc then so be it.... ;) If I was just wanting 'a knife" I would probably go with an ESEE as they are great blades and would do all I asked no doubt at all....but at heart....well I "need" ;) a Busse with me.... ;) :D

.... all the women who stuff money in the side of my loin cloth while working my second job would disagree..... :eek: :eek: :D I was told that the uniform look didn't work for me as a stripper ;) so I went with this theme... :D

Back on topic. Interesting thing is that most use a normal machete or "Panga". So anything in the 10inch blade

....no secrets in this forums is there.... ;) :D :D That has been a want of mine for sometime and when I saw T's post combining that with the ASH was an easy decision. I know most wont belive me but that ASH is actually for a close mate, he only wanted three Busses, an NMFBM, a TGLB and a skinny ASH...I delivered the other two last month so he is a happy camper now.

For the trip I am really leaning toward a BJ but an ASH seems fitting as well.... :D :D
