Sell me on an ESEE 6.....

Between the two knives I would go with the ESEE hands down. For your requirements as a chopper, I'd go with the junglas or even a HI kukri however. A light 6 inch blade isn't all that wonderful at chopping IMO. I had a Swamp Rat M6 which is comparible size in 1/4" steel and it sucked at chopping.
 
Which Chris Reeve knife are we talking about?The knife in the knifetest destruction test didnt do to well from what I remember.
