sell me on the endura

I have several Spydercos but no Endura. I fixed that problem yesterday by ordering myself a FFG ZDP model. A Father's Day gift to myself!

The Spyderco Endura 4 SE: like a chainsaw only lighter...

It's depressing when a $60 blade kicks a few $200 ones out of the EDC rotation.

And this is only two days in for me. Lol.

Thin, lightweight, big blade, cheap, and COLORS!

Can't tell you no good about the Endura because I own none... but I'm right now searching for my 4th Delica. I think that says it all...

I've carried an Endura of one type or another since 92. It's kicked out a lot of much more expensive knives as my daily carry. I have to carry another knife in addition to the endura, not instead of.

It's pretty much what I judge other folders by now. I'm so used to it in my pocket that I can get it out and into action cutting boxes, bags etc. faster than I can any waved , or even auto. I have both VG10 and ZDP ( plus every other model made) but I typically choose the VG10 for everyday use. I keep it at around 20-25 degrees inclusive. I can resharpen this stuff in my sleep if I have to on my DMT or Norton India stones,

Fit for my grip is just right. For another person? Who knows, but it sure suits me.

One model I've seen I wouldn't buy, carry, or give it time in my knife box(es) is the Toxic green model made for another forum. I'd much rather go back to the older models I still can use due to their ability to go on without wearing out. In fact, my Gin 1 ( marked G-2) original first spyderco knife bought in 92 with the molded in FRN clip is still functionally perfect, and very carry able. They don't wear out, just get smoother.

Joe

I have to agree with you on the frn clip- it's amazingly functional
