Sellers and Buyers - Read This

I might as well get my feet wet too,, so lets dance,, I personally don't like to have two post in two different sections of Blade Forums in order to sell an chat to a potential buyer ,, if Im in the Gallery, can I say go to the for sale area an see the price Im asking for this knife here, but why ?? Coz Im not allowed to tell you here , an when you get there an see it,, come back here an tell me what you think is good or bad about it ok,,,
That way we use up more space an ink or whatever these pc's are made of..??
Plus I try to post my knives as SOLD in the upper stair case area so it can be seen when anyone see's my thread.. that way they don't have to go all the way thru my thread to fine out if its still available . And if it gets so we cant talk anymore I might as well let Julie sell it for me down in Florida,, they do a good job there also..just my thoughts ..Joe Allen

oooops, posted a few 'nice job' comments in some sales threads before I saw this.

Must say, that the permissive nature of the sales threads here that fostered and encouraged some comments and discussion with the makers is one of the main things that's kept me coming back over the years. Well that and all the beautiful pointy steel!

I think that this is a move in the wrong direction. Sure, you're going to have some shill-bumping and what have you, but stifling all discussion or moving it off into yet another forum doesn't seem to be the answer to me.

Was the problem, in these knifemakers subfora, really all that bad? I didn't think so.

I was one of the members that was given
An infraction for posting a comment on an item
That I was interested in. I guess the "conversation"
Was being taken as thread bumping and out of
Control.. Life goes on
