I can empathize, believe me. A spiral of smoke, imported incense from the Orient burning in front of my personal Kela, is now wafting its way to Heaven.

You know, especially in a case like this, I think the boy's family should have some input as to whether charges are filed, or not. This *should* have been a safe environment. Keys were collected. We can argue as to whether underage drinking is "right", or not, but I certainly don't think Donovan deserves 2-20. :(

Prayers sent for your father, nephew, his friend's family, and you.

Up in NH, our 'powers that be' have an ad campaign against underage drinking and they're adamant that parents don't have the right to decide if they can serve alcohol to their children even in mostly controlled circumstances. It's a sad state of affairs at times.

Still, prayers sent that everything will turn out alright.
 
Smoke sent. It's really tough when political correctness lands on your doorstep. I hope that things settle down for your nephews sake. I'm glad that you've found a way to forgive your father. Hopefully, he has met you halfway on these issues. Best of luck.

Spoke with Dad's wife a little while ago.

Results should show where the colon tumor is malignant tomorrow or Friday. A procedure to work on Dad's bile ducts will be performed probably tomorrow.
