Senior Member means nothing...but it should

Hoodoo,
Way back when I started, they were giving us a new Randall for each 100 posts. I really liked my Model 1-8", and was looking forward to "Me too"ing my way to a Model 2. When they got too many members and stopped the giveaways, it slowed me right down.

IMHO the length of time someone has been a member is much more significant than number of posts. I think it says a lot that a member has been here from the beginning, or that they have been loyal to this forum for multiple years. My $.02.

A knife is by default a tool, it's only a weapon when a human chooses to make it so.

I tend to think that people who have strong opinions on this either way have too much time on their hands. Not unlike the rest of us, come to think of it.

Quite honestly, I am more concerned about the content of the post rather than the titles attached to it (that's my opinion of course). I suppose I spend as much time on this forum as most, I just don't post as much because I'd rather learn at this stage of the game. Easy Rider coined it all for me. Perhaps, those that have posted objecting to the "senior status" have to harp about something. I'm here to learn and discuss KNIVES not somebody's social agenda.

Well, If I have remembered correctly, this may be my 100th post! and now it means squat?
