September BOTM Guesses/Wishlist - Who guessed a 631? You're a winner!

The last thing I need is another hunting knife, but I think the 631 looks like a nice, lightweight backcountry blade.

I can tell that nobody at Buck has arthritis or hand gripping problems. This wouldn’t work for me at all. When I was young yeah maybe but I still would have preferred a robust handle to get a grip even back then. I just don’t understand it ! Can we mash a reset button on the Buck website????

I like the paklite line (the 636 gets a lot of use camping and even at home). I've looked at the 631 at different times, but I like it at $50 in 420HC. You can get the 631/635 combo at knifecenter onsale right now for $55.

The orange cerakote blade is fantastic! The insert should have been a nice shade of lavender or turquoise to make the knife really standout and unique.
A jack-o-lantern engraved on the blade would have been perfect. Maybe we will get that next month?

I admit it: I was wrong. Pumpkin Spice season started early this year. LOL!

I’d rather have something hunter orange than a gaudy haloween-themed knife. Bravo, Buck!

I agree about the effort to make the BOTM knife available in different models. I just wish they would curb their enthusiasm for the use of Cerakote.

Yes, but I have a couple Budgies that are absolutely garish, and I love them. Kids love them too. Especially that candy corn fob. Think of the kids!

B brianv , you may have had the closest guess. The G10 was off, but "Harvest Gold" could be "Hi-Vis Orange" if you squint real hard.

Some flipper on e pay is probably snatching up as many of these pumpkin knives as they can. Maybe they'll get to keep them all.

I'm not a big fan of Cerakote, but if it was black I just might have been tempted. It looks like it'd be easy enough to remove the handle slabs & replace them with a beefier, more comfortable, full handle of wood.

I love the idea of a lightweight hunting knife, but this one misses for me. Needs a nonconductive handle and a lighter weight to compete.
