Thanks for the clarification. This knife should fit right in.

Cool one Ed.

Im not carrying this one but I will take it out and have a peak at. I think it fits the theme.

German knives, cool, I can play. Even have a couple with a bottle opener.DSC03526.jpg

The two fixed blade Puma's also have matching serial numbers. They were a gift from my Aunt and Uncle many years ago.

I have a number of German knives, but only one has a caplifter, and I don't have a pic handy of it. Here are some of the others:

Oh cool ! I can play! All I have is a German made little Puma Lock-back I picked up in Switzerland in 1981 after I graduated Highschool. Amazing that I still have it! Also picked up a nice German made Bowie style knife marked Golden Westen across the blade. Even in 1981 I kind of got the stink eye look at airline checkin and Customs. Really diggin those German Stockmans! I've gotta take time and learn how to post photos on here......

Someone say Henckels?

I love this knife! I was too late to the party to find a 3 blade so I picked up the 4 blade and couldn't be happier with the fit n finish.

No caplifter on this one. Just a well used/hard used knife I used in the past and still use in my shop some days. The tiny white dots aren't dust motes - just blemishes.

Does a Puma 260 made in '85 count? Of course I may still run out and pickup a boker.

more german knives coming fast, for sure :D

Kind regards

I have a red jigged bone Henckels pen knife I could use, but ordered and received a black-handled K55K, just for this month. Seems like a fun idea. I like the knife quite a bit, and, given its size, was surprised at its light weight.

It looks like I'll be carrying my Kissing Crane congress (extremely similar to the one Mike posted above) during August, as it's the only German made knife I have that doesn't have MOP handles and weighs a ton. I haven't carried this congress much since I got it, and it was time to give my Case WMT a break anyway.

This is my only german knife...I carry it daily, kept in the zip part of my wallet...made by "Griffon CW GERMANY", this one is early 1900's and amazingly the pearl is not cracked! 3" Closed.
