Glad to see you went a SE & PE , both have function and useage in different scenarios. I like the SE at work and PE in the bush. You can sharpen the SE with a standard stone or with a rod ,no specila tools required. I also like to use the serrated portion to strike my firesteel and saves the PE portin from dulling.
I completely missed this thread until now, but it looks like the standard answer was given. When in doubt get both.I'm sure you will like all of your new RATs Jetblack :thumbup:
So far I love having both serrated and straight on the same blade. It seems to me to be a good all around choice if you are only going to carry one knife
