Sure, what an interesting knife. What can you share about it? Original Custon shop? Who did it and when etc.I won't be able to post on Saturday, so...
Do handle serrations count?
Does the model number on the box show that the knife is part of the N1 Series? It is in the box, never used... with the original paperwork
I just got it in the mail. It is in the box, never used... with the original paperwork AND the original receipt. I am trying to find a value because the amount I paid may need to be bumped up a little. I only paid $150.
No, I'm just seeing the model name, model number and catalog number. Where would the N1 Series designator be? Sorry about the delayed response, I thought your message was part of the scolding I got. I appreciate your help....Does the model number on the box show that the knife is part of the N1 Series?
Actually, I had NO idea that that was the rule. This is one of the only times I've posted on BF without spending money being my goal. I support the knife makers and sellers who sell here. I did finally find out that my subscription croaked in January. I had to go back in my bank records because I got no response from Admin. Thank you for your diligent Hall monitoring. It's against the rules to talk values without a gold membership level or above. You've been here long enough that you should know that...lol
As I'm sure you're used to, your assumptions have made an ass of you... again. First, that would be a year and 4 months or so ago. I renewed my membership. Second, your opinion was neither valid or wanted. I have seen 3 or 4 other comps that make your "knowledge" ridiculous. THIRD... I didn't want the value for resale. As I said, I saw the value and wanted to confirm so I could compensate the lady I bought it from. I'm no Buck expert and she's an estate sale buyer. I wanted to make sure I wasn't cheating anyone. You've been called a pedantic jackass before, haven't you? Not that I am calling you that, I think you're a great example for us.Glad I could help!
If not for those of us paying for the site, any freeloader (like yourself, prior to an hour ago) tempt those of us with the knowledge you seek into breaking the rules.
Sarcasm aside... at $150, you've over spent by 25-50% in my opinion. The 105 isn't as desirable a model for the majority of collectors. It's had fewer variations over the years than just about any traditional pattern, fixed or folder. The 301 is probably top dollar on the series with the 119 close behind. Either of those could be $150 knives.
Good luck with
