serrations on knives Y or N

For a normal knife, I dislike serrations too, for reasons already mentioned here(difficult to sharpen, impossible to do fine tasks with,...)
But I love the serrated knife of my Leatherman Cruch:

It goes through pvc and other similiar stuff with far more ease than any of my plain edge blades,
and the plain 1/4" end near the tip can still be used for some fine slicing tasks.

Plain-edge only.

The same for me. I just don't like serrations. I guess they would be nice if I never intended to sharpen my knives, but since I do sharpen them, I don't see any reason to have serrations.

yeah, for what i cut day to day, i never use a combo edge. what i am probably going to start doing is carrying two knives instead of one. that way i can have some serrations!:)

I carry two knives, currently a full size Rukus with partial serrations and black blade. And a small Rukus PE. This satisfies my need for a PE and yet the serrations are there if the pooo ever hits the rotating air circulation device.
