Is there any known reason for this? Would a new server fix the issue? Do we need to take up a collection to fund that? This is very frustrating to me, being that this is my absolute favorite site on line. Taking 35 to 40 seconds to respond to a "click" of the mouse.

^ Yup - since I've clicked on - I've had a warm bath, a nice glass of warm molasses and milk and the old Dear and I have had a bit of a ... well you know  :D

Moving right along at 2AM Sunday morning.
But it was so slow Saturday night that I just logged out.

Most of last week was slow for me in the Boston area but it's been back up to speed yesterday and today. I have had issues like this in the past when I was into online gaming when the server company was doing maintenance or a key routing station in the field was down. It would usually take a day or two to straighten out.

It wouldn't be something as dumb as backups running at night would it?

I say this as an IT guy who has done backups for many years.

9:45pm EST. Working pretty darn fast tonight. 3 seconds max for me to get through a link. Interesting.
