Server move complete, please post problems here

Just tried to post a picture for the first time using the old manage attachments button and doing it like always with a jpeg file. It tells me its not a valid file type and won't let me upload. Not sure what is going on their because my technique is the same as always. I had to use my third party server to upload it.

I'm having an intermittent problem with thumbnail prints. There for a while around 1:00 a.m. when I put my pointer on a thumbnail it would do as it's supposed to and open into a larger pic.
But every since the server move until around 1:00 a.m. and now once again every time I put my pointer on a thumbnail I get an hourglass for a short period of time and then instead of a full size pic I get an image like this except one unique to the thumbnail....

Yesterday spell check was working fine for me. Today when I went to use it a box appeared asking if I wanted to download ieSpell. I had already downloaded it, but I figured something must have happened, so I started the download agian. When it all finished, a box appeared that told me that the latest ieSpell was already on my computer.
 
Never mind, a drop down box opened up that let me know that I had to run an active X control for this website so that ieSpell would work. I had already done that in the past, but I guess something happened that required me doing it again.
 
Attachments should work now. Search should be operational now.
 
In addition to that, the problem we had with words being too common seems to be gone as well. If you search for a very frequently used term like "steel" or "spyderco" or "buck" or whatever, it'll take a bit of time, but it actually works now.

My attempt to upload an avatar behaved different, and returned a message saying the upload failed. However, I see the avatar now, or is it my imagination? I've changed from a turkey to a hawk.

Thanks for all of the diligent work, by the way, performing a server upgrade over a holiday weekend. Much appreciated. :thumbup:
 
The time on here is about 8 min fast now. At least according to my online time, posts are ahead. So somebody is wrong. My clock says 3:53 pm edit time was 4:02 pm:eek:

1. pages often do not load..I have to hit refresh more than once. the header comes but content does not appear.
2. Trouble viewing images that are attached via thumbnail. I get the spinny thing forever pic never comes up.
3. PMs are slow and often have to hit refresh often.
 
Stop hitting refresh so often. That contributes to the problem. I'll find out more on the rest.
 
I know the clock issue has already been brought up, but it is really annoying when you go to "New Posts" and think nothing has been posted in the last several minutes. It can be hard to know if someone new has posted in a thread of yours.

Go to User CP and change setting to get instant email notifications of any thread that you started or subscribed to.


The time does not mess up email notifications, you can read the post in your email, or go to thread if you wish to reply.

searches are much improved. :D

the only issue I am having appears to be a t-mobile issue, when i connect through my phone-as-modem i still have some dns issues. Since it all works fine from home and cafe wifi, i will assume it's just T-Mo
