Sesh Anthony - don't bother, waste of effort and time

I've had a couple items on hold for Mr. Sesh Anthony for several weeks now - he had offered to not only take the Fred Perrin and the Livesays I had up for sale, but also asked me to hold them for a couple weeks. I had reservations about this, but he had then informed me he was going to pay me thru a third party.

I just spoke with the third party and that third party has informed me Sesh told him to forget it, that the deal had gone South. This was over two weeks ago. Sesh Anthony had never written to me telling me that he was no longer interested in buying the knives.

Sesh has now done this to me several times, over knives which had other inquiries, as have these. I have lost the opportunity to sell these blades to several other folks, but since they were spoken for, I did not sell them.

I want the Bladeforums community to know of this and be wary of dealing with Mr. Sesh Anthony. The third party spoke highly of him, as has another party who is not only a good friend of mine but a knife dealer as well. Apparently Mr. Anthony does not see his committment in writing as an obligation, so I offer this as a caution to anyone dealing with him.

Bottom line, I will not do business with him regardless of how good the deal. I know other folks have had significantly different experiences, but this is my history with him.

Parker,

I ran across some information on a similar situation that you may be interested in.

I will e-mail you.

Good luck,

Keith, thanks - I'd rather be forgiving than too quick on the draw, but this is ridiculous. As far as I am concerned he's a liar and has yet to say a word in response despite my attempts to contact him for two weeks now. I'm going to simply delete any inbound email from him in the future without bothering to read it.

By the way Keith, you always have just some of the coolest damned knives as avatars.

Parker sorry man:( Thats just not right...you once again are wayyy more patient than I, Thanks for saving others the potential aggrivation sir:thumbup: Hey If the Exec. Woo is one of the Blades that fell through maybe I can help you out. email me when you find time....

Gents, again, thanks for the support. Sesh is a member at Tactical Forums, but I do not know if he even posts there. He found this blade either here or at www.JerzeeDevil.com. If he found it there, he would have to be a member, if here, i think one can view the for-sale threads without being a member.

If I discover his user-name I'll certainly put it up here.

His real name is Sesh Anthony, which is the name several dealers know him by.

The email he has been using is seshanthony@gmail.com but again, how hard is that to change up, right? Last email I sent to that account bounced, which was a week ago or so. I conferred with one of the gents who was to be the point of payment at Nordic Knives and the gentleman informed me Sesh had terminated instructions for payment.

I mention Nordic Knives ONLY because this was the vendor giving Mr. Anthony such a high recommendation and opinion. Nordic has a very good reputation in the business, but I find this to be reprehensible behavior by Mr. Sesh Anthony and he can kiss my ass from this point forward.

Russ, it was the Exec Woo and the US Marshall, both great knives. Email inbound at you.

This guy is supposed to be sending me a MO from Nordic Knives to buy a couple rats from me. Should I believe him? He offered an unusually high price.

By the way, his user name is now TALON158. Does any one have experience with him?

Hunter; I can't speak for anyone else but I received a MO in that manner a week or so ago and shipped the knives, no problems, YMMV.

Hunter, will not comment on Parker. Since 8/21, have bought almost 20 busses/rats. Most of the MOs have reached the sellers, only 2 are on their way, including the 1 to you. Another seller will get paypal payment on Monday. Just ask bladeforums members Infi & beyond, Tuyio, Border Shift, David Brown, 007 ZZero, Phillip Patton, Mark Roe if I am true to my word. Have supported the custom knife industry for many years, just ask notable dealers like Dave Harvey, Rhett Stidham, R&cC Knives(now defunct), Paul Basch and Steve D'Lack. Bought knives from many makers of note including, Dean, Crowell, Appleton, Schimidt, Hendrickson, Potier, Bartug, Hartsfield(over 100 pieces). Kindly please ask any of them if I defaulted on payment. If you DO NOT recieve your MO by the end of next week, kindly feel free to post here.

I will NOT get into a "I said this, you said this" blame game. It will not accomplish anything. Although my post count here is low, I have been around the custom knife world since 1988. As stated in my post above, I fully believe there are many "veterans" in the custom knife world that will speak for me. This past 2 weeks, have done numerous transactions with many gentleman from Bladeforums. If ANY of them has anything negative to say about me, feel free to post on this thread or on the other one that I started. Have also commissioned and bought knives for the Sultan Of Johor(Malaysia) and Prince Jeffri(Sultan of Brunei's son). I value their opinions' highly and have strived to keep a good reputation.

Seth, without trying to be the bad guy here, I'm just confused as to why you would even bother to post here on Parker's thread, if you're not going to address the issue at hand? Your previous transactions might be stellar, but a person's reputation is only as good as his latest transactions. Please, tell us your side of the story. Inquiring minds want to know.

Sesh is A ok guys. I don't know what all the trolling is about. He contacted me and sent payment ASAP. Very professional, very quick. Doesn't anyone get tired of band wagoning the bad threads? MO from Nordic Knives just like he said. Skeptics beware, he backs up his word.

Am actually responding here so that Hunter660 can give me time for the MO to get to him. Danbo:"A person's reputation is only as good as his latest transactions." You can read about my latest transactions. An example is posted above.

Okay, it's cool that you have been around. I've been around since 1986, and I think that Danbo told me at one point that he got his first custom knife from Benjamin Franklin.:D

Your bonafides don't address the issue at hand. Did you or did you not blow off a fellow Forumite, and if so, why?

It is a simple question, and not meant to stir up any crap. Each and every transaction is important, one "S.O.B. deal" can hurt the most pristine of reputations.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I know what I say wont make an ounce of difference, Keith. I just want to conclude my deal with Hunter660. All my recent transactions here have been above board, anyone else with negative experiences? Anyone that doesnt want to deal with me over this Parker incident are free to do so. Never had this experience with knife shows or custom makers, EVER!

Sure it will, if you did what you did for an acceptable reason. If however you feel that it is acceptable to tell someone that you are going to purchase something, decide not to make that purchase, and don't feel that it is important to let that person know, then that is something that people thinking of doing business with you should know. If you do not consider that to be the way to do business then it would be interesting to know why it happened with Parker.

Screwups happen, but Parker posted that you have done it to him several times, which leaves me with the impression that it is common practice with you.
