For sale is my full set of seven Dave Loukides chef knives. All pieces range between 7-9 years old and were purchased directly from Dave by me. They are all hand-forged 1084 steel and are made to perform under extreme conditions for long periods of time. Dave made and sold several similar knives to professional chefs who wanted carbon steel chef knives for their duties.

Dave was an active maker and member of the forums years back. He worked with way to Junior Smith and then retired from knifemaking. This set of knives represents a range from when he was just starting (noted by the "DEL" initials stamp) all the way to his JS period.

All of these knives have been used, some quite extensively, over their lifetimes. They share these commonalities:

- 1084 hand-forged, full-tang, full-height flat ground, fully distal tapered blades
- Steel bolsters
- Loveless style handles
- Stabilized and epoxied wood handles
- No cracks, warps, chips, or loose handle or bolster pieces.
- Never been put in a dishwasher or used for anything other than food prep.
- No edge chips, rolls, or flats on the blades. One exception is a forging flaw in the tip of the Western gyuto (a small rollover spot from forging, can be sharpened out but I never bothered.

Specifics about each knife are included below the pic links.

My total cost to buy all of these was around $1700-2000. I am selling the entire set for $450 shipped, USPS priority and PayPal included. CONUS only please, international shipping would be cost-prohibitive.
